The Lloyd Family Scholarship provides an opportunity for North Americans students to apply for an award of up to $1,500 to cover travel-related expenses in undertaking studies related to Welsh-American history and culture in Wales. The award is designed to support students aspiring to Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees or equivalent at recognized academic institutions in Wales. Application must be supported by the host institution. Financial needs must be documented.
The recipient does not have to be of a Welsh ethnic background however, a connection with Wales is an important asset.
The award will be made in Summer 2025 based on competition and sufficient merit.
Applications for 2025-26 now open, Deadline for application: June 1, 2025.
